ESCANABA – The following individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court on unrelated charges.
Rayleen Marilyn Froehlich, of 410 South Finch St., Apt. 201, Horicon, Wis., pleaded guilty to one count of delivery/manufacture controlled substance (cocaine, heroin, or another narcotic) less than 50 grams. Froehlich was sentenced to 215 days in jail with credit for 215 days already served. Froehlich was ordered to pay $758 in fines and fees.
Joshua Daniel Caswell, of 1609 11th Ave. N., Escanaba pleaded no contest to assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer. Caswell also pleaded no contest to three counts of attempting to assault/resist/obstruct a police officer. Caswell was sentenced to five months in jail for assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer with credit for 26 days already served. Caswell was also sentenced to jail for 240 days for the other two charges with credit for 52 days already served in jail. Caswell was ordered to pay $1.695 in fines and fees.
Shawn Michael Boyle, of 612 South 16th St., Escanaba pleaded no contest to attempting/operating while impaired (3rd offense). Boyle was sentenced to 11 months in jail with credit for 223 days already served. He was ordered to pay $1,095 in fines and fees.
Evan Jay Krueger, of 6360 Danforth M.15 Blvd., Escanaba pleaded guilty to three counts of delivery/manufacture of controlled substance (cocaine, heroin, or another narcotic). Krueger was sentenced to 12 months in jail with credit for 257 days already served. He was ordered to pay $630 in fines and fees.
Joseph Paul Robitaille, of 2704 8th Ave. S., Escanaba, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted delivery/manufacture of controlled substance (methamphetamine). Robitaille was sentenced to 128 in jail with credit for 128 days already served. Robitaille was ordered to $380 in fines and fees.
Kenneth Gene Rausch, Jr., of 6277 M.25 Ln., Escanaba pleaded guilty to attempted possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy). Rausch was sentenced to 92 days in jail with credit for 92 days already served. Rausch was ordered to pay $780 in fines and fees.
Courtney Sable Parish, of 3071 D1 Rd., Wilson, pleaded guilty to controlled substance – possession (cocaine, heroin, or another narcotic) less than 25 grams. Parish was sentenced to 105 days in jail with credit for 105 days already served. Parish was ordered to pay $908 in fines and fees.
Jimmy Robert Pethers, of 312 1st Ave., South., Apt. 3, Escanaba pleaded no contest to an underlying offense: possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy). Pethers also pleaded guilty to habitual offender – fourth offense notice. Pethers was sentenced to 3 to 20 years in prison with credit for 82 days already served in jail. He was ordered to pay $198 in fines and fees.
