Strike for Hunger event a success

USW Local 21 thanks community for participating in this year’s USW Women of Steel “Strike for Hunger.” The event raised $11,327 in cash donations and 1,560 pounds of donated items. Strike for Hunger secured a matching donation from Billerud — bringing the cash total to nearly $23,000. Elmer’s County Market and Pat’s Foods hosted the event. Above is the amount raised at Pat’s Foods in Gladstone.
