Tom Mitchell, board member of the Community Foundation For Delta County, presents a $2,712.89 check to Cheri Severinsen, president of the Delta County Cancer Alliance. The funds were provided by the Robert & Anne Schmit endowment in the community foundation. “Robert and Anne Schmit were solid citizens in our community and the fund they have in the community foundation will continue to support many lives and non-profits for many years in the future,” said Mitchell. Delta County Cancer Alliance President Cheri Severinsen said, “We are very grateful for the wonderful financial support we receive from Robert and Anne Schmits fund in the community foundation. Our organization was created to provide both financial as well as other types of assistants to cancer patients in the community.”
