ESCANABA — A local business is expanding its leadership team.
State Wide Real Estate of Escanaba announced that Christopher S. Gestwicki and his wife, Danielle (Boucher) Gestwicki, and Jason Brownewell and his wife, Rebecca (Bink) Brownewell, have officially joined the ownership ranks.
They join the leadership team of a 3rd-generation realtor and current owner, Dave Harris, along with his wife, Mary Harris.
According to a statement made by owners Dave and Mary Harris, after a year of planning and discussion, they agreed to sell part of their ownership to the Brownewells.
Additionally, Judy Owens and her husband, Jay Owens, have sold their ownership stake to the Gestwickis.
While Judy is stepping back from ownership, Harris says she remains a vital part of the team and will continue as a realtor and associate broker with State Wide Real Estate. He added that her decision was thoughtfully planned, and everything had fallen perfectly into place.
“These changes reflect our continued commitment to growth while staying true to the legacy of trust and excellence that has defined State Wide Real Estate for over 70 years. We are incredibly excited about this new chapter and look forward to the positive changes ahead as we continue to serve the communities we proudly call home.,” the company said in a statement.
Christopher Gestwicki brings over 32 years of sales experience, including 22 years at Hilltop RV, of Escanaba.

The Gestwickis have raised three children, David, Lucas, and Breeanna, in Escanaba.

Jason Brownewell brings over 30 years of digital and business consulting experience.
