ESCANABA — First Bank, Upper Michigan, is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Mitch Caron as trust and investment officer.

First Bank Trust Department Manager Ben Zyburt said, “Mitch’s experience will add tremendous value to our Investment team. He will be an active contributor to our Investment Committee.”

In his role, Caron will provide IMG customers with financial planning, investment management, trust, and estate administration.

Caron worked as a registered representative and stock broker for the last 10 years in the Financial District of New York City. Caron holds both Series 7 & 63 licenses and earned an ABA from City University of New York LaGuardia CC.

He is a native of Escanaba, a member of the Escanaba Rotary Club, and an avid golfer.
