On Wednesday, four Delta County employers were recognized for their Exemplary Registered Apprenticeship Programs by Upper Peninsula Michigan Works. These companies included VanAire, Marbles Gun Sights, Northern Machine & Repair, and Precision Plus. This race to Talent event highlighted the vast benefits of Registered Apprenticeship opportunities for employers and job seekers, Upper Peninsula Michigan Works! hosted a Race to Talent event in partnership with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, federal labor and workforce development experts, area business leaders and employers.
