Jessica and Shane Tolman

GREEN BAY, Wis. — On August 5, 2023, the backyard was the setting for the vows of Shane Tolman, son of Cathy and Greg Tolman Sr. of Escanaba, Mich., and Jessica Hoeress, daughter of Lee Lessmiller Hoerres of DePere, Wis., to become husband and wife and a family of four.

The couple danced their way through the yard and up to the archway where Jordan Hoerres awaited them and they recited their self written vows. The rings were presented by Jayden Heinz, the bride’s son, and the flower petal path was created by Lauren Boehm, the bride’s daughter, and her cousin, Hailee.

After the vows, guests enjoyed a pleasant and relaxing time on their blankets with their pillows and baskets of snacks and beverages. Later in the day everyone headed to the Meyer Theatre in downtown Green Bay for a tasty supper and some dancing fun. The new couple honeymooned in the Wisconsin Dells.
