Dawn and John LaPine, Jr.

ESCANABA — Dawn Williams was wed to John LaPine, Jr., during n afternoon ceremony held at Bethany Lutheran Church in Escanaba on Sept. 23, 2023.

Dawn is the daughter of Danny and Brenda Hemminger, of Norway, Mich., and Rodney and Tammy LaCross of Rapid River. John is the son Sue LaPine and the late John LaPine, Sr., of Rock.

The 1 p.m. service was officiated by Dougie Trudell Jr.

The Maid of Honor was Cassie Lanaville, friend of the couple. Bridesmaids were Skylar LaPine, Zoey LaPine, Connor Soderman, Kristy Hemminger, Mallory Hemminger, Teresa Campbell, and Josie Hemminger.

The Best Man was Shawn Lussier, friend of the couple. Groomsmen were Andrew Olender, Dayne Solis, Jason LaPine, Chad Depuydt, Josh Hemminger, Adam Hemminger, Larry Campbell, and Logan Lark.

Users were Rodney LaCross and Everett Walker. The flower girl was Lucy Heller and the ring bearer was Duaine Williams III, son of the bride.

Dawn is a 1998 graduate of Superior Central High School. She now works at the Daily Press.

John is a 1997 graduate of Mid Pen, and is currently employed at Cals Grinding.
