Easter egg hunt April 19

GLADSTONE — An Easter egg hunt will be held at First Lutheran Church, 1212 Minneapolis Ave., in Gladstone on Saturday, April 19. The event will begin at 1 p.m.

All children are welcome. Participants should bring their own baskets. If there is inclement weather, the hunt will be moved indoors.

Nominations sought for Eagle’s officers

ESCANABA — Eagles Aerie #1088 will hold nominations for officers on Tuesday, April 15, at 7 p.m. meeting. Those unable to attend may send a letter of intent to have name nominated for an office. Letters must be filed before start of  meeting.

St. Thomas pasties

ESCANABA — St. Anthony’s is having a pasty sale on April 10 and 11. Pick up at St. Thomas from 1 to 4 p.m.

Bay de Noc Choral Society concert

ESCANABA — The Bay de Noc Choral Society will present their annual spring concert, “Anthem for Spring,” on Sunday. April 13 at 1:30 p.m.

The four-part choir will be singing secular and sacred music accompanied by handbells, brass and percussion as well as organ and piano. The concert will take place at Bethany Lutheran Church, 202 South 11th Street. A free will offering will be taken.

Dance in Rock

ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Road, on Sunday, April 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. Live music will be performed by Red River Band.

There is a cost at the door and a free-will donation lunch will be available.
