GLADSTONE — The 31st Annual Friends of the Gladstone Library Candlelight Dinner will be held April 26 at 6 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone.
Tickets for the dinner are available at the library or from a Friends of the Library member for $20 and must be purchased by April 14. The dinner will be catered by Matt Wiles Catering, and events at the dinner will include a “Share the Wealth” drawing, book raffle, and the raffle for this year’s quilt or a Kindle Fire.
Raffle tickets for this year’s quilt — “Golden Dusk,” a quilt created by Margaret Noreus — or Kindle Fire are $1 each and can be purchased at the library, from a Friends member or at the Candlelight Dinner. The winner does not need to be present to win.
The public is invited to the dinner. Proceeds help fund the library and activities and programs for the community, especially children, such as story hours and the summer reading programs.
