Legion and Auxiliary to meet Wednesday

ESCANABA TOWNSHIP — American Legion Post 115, Escanaba River, Legion and Auxiliary will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2.

DAV resumes meeting April 7 in Escanaba

ESCANABA — Disabled American Veterans Chapter #24 will be conducting meetings at 7 p.m. the first Monday of every month, starting April 7 at the Purple Heart Building, 1202 Sheridan Road, Escanaba.

Dance in Rock

ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Road, on Sunday, April 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. Live music will be performed by Red River Band.

There is a cost at the door and a free-will donation lunch will be available.

Spring Story Hour

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Public Library will be holding a Spring Story Hour on Saturday, April 26, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Children ages 2 to 10 years old are invited to attend with their families. Activities will include stories, a spring-themed craft and a snack.

Spring break hours for Gladstone Library begin

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Public Library has announced its spring break hours. The library will be open March 31 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; April 1 through April 3, the library will be open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.; and the library will be closed April 4.

The library will also be closed April 18.
