Breakfast to benefit Esky Class of 2025

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Eagle’s Charity Breakfast for March will benefit the Escanaba High School Class of 2025. The breakfast will be held Sunday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Eagle’s Hall.

Cantata Choir to give Easter concert

ROCK — The Delta County Area Cantata Choir will present their Easter concert on Sunday, April 13th. This year they are performing “Who Do You Say That I Am” by Lloyd Larson, with additional songs, “One Day” and “I Stand Amazed.” There are three performances to choose from: 2 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, Rock; 4 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Perkins; and 6 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church in Rapid River.

Refreshments and fellowship will follow each performance, and a free-will offering will be gratefully accepted.

Gladstone Lions Spring Social planned

GLADSTONE — On Saturday, May 3, the Gladstone Lions Club will be hosting its annual Spring Social. The event will take place at the Terrace Bluff Golf Course. The doors open at 7 p.m. with live music by Stonewall starting at 8 p.m.

A silent auction, bucket raffles, and 50/50 raffles will be held throughout the night. The event is open to the general public and tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door.

Spring Story Hour

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Public Library will be holding a Spring Story Hour on Saturday, April 26, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Children ages 2 to 10 years old are invited to attend with their families. Activities will include stories, a spring-themed craft and a snack.
