ESCANABA — Sunday, April 6 will be the last breakfast until September at St. Thomas. Serving will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The public is always welcome.

Choral Society to ­present spring concert

ESCANABA — The Bay de Noc Choral Society will present their annual spring concert, “Anthem for Spring,” on Sunday. April 13 at 1:30 p.m.

The four-part choir will be singing secular and sacred music accompanied by handbells, brass and percussion as well as organ and piano. The concert will take place at Bethany Lutheran Church, 202 South 11th Street. A free will offering will be taken.

Gladstone Lions Club Spring Social is May 3

GLADSTONE — On Saturday, May 3, the Gladstone Lions Club will be hosting its annual Spring Social. The event will take place at the Terrace Bluff Golf Course. The doors open at 7 p.m. with live music by Stonewall starting at 8 p.m.

A silent auction, bucket raffles, and 50/50 raffles will be held throughout the night. The event is open to the general public and tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door.
