Dance in Rock
ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Road, on Sunday, April 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. Live music will be performed by Red River Band.
There is a cost at the door and a free-will donation lunch will be available.

NARFE to meet
ESCANABA — The National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Chapter 1900 will meet by Zoom only at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 26. The guest speaker will be Robert Van Howe of the Marquette County Health Department. He will speak about bird flu, Lyme disease, West Nile virus, and a new mosquito-borne virus.
Chapter members will receive the Zoom link by email. Members who are not on the Chapter email distribution and who want to receive the Zoom link and passcode should email upmags@gmail.com.
Any active or retired Federal employees are invited to attend NARFE meetings. Non-members are welcome as guests.
NARFE Chapter 1900 was chartered in 1983 and includes members from the Marquette, Escanaba, Rapid River, Ontonagon, L’Anse, Houghton and Hancock areas. For additional information, email upmags@gmail.com.
MEA-R sets meeting
ESCANABA — The U.P. Tri-County MEA-R Chapter will hold a meeting on Tuesday, April 8, at 10 a.m. (EDT) at Bay College, Conference Room SC525, located behind Cafe Bay in the Student Services Building. Please use parking Lot D.
Any interested retired or current MEA members are welcome to attend.
Disabled Veterans meetings to resume
ESCANABA — Disabled American Veterans Chapter #24 will be conducting meetings at 7 p.m. the first Monday of every month, starting April 7, 2025 at the Purple Heart Building, 1202 Sheridan Road, Escanaba.
