DAV meetings to resume April 7

ESCANABA — Disabled American Veterans Chapter #24 will be conducting meetings at 7 p.m. the first Monday of every month, starting April 7, 2025 at the Purple Heart Building, 2700 Sheridan Road, Escanaba.

Tri-County MEA-R plans meeting at Bay College

ESCANABA — The U.P. Tri-County MEA-R Chapter will hold a meeting on Tuesday, April 8, at 10 a.m. (EDT) at Bay College, Conference Room SC525, located behind Cafe Bay in the Student Services Building. Please use parking Lot D.

Any interested retired or current MEA members are welcome to attend.

Spring break hours for Gladstone library

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Public Library has announced its spring break hours. The library will be open March 31 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; April 1 through April 3, the library will be open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.; and the library will be closed April 4.

The library will also be closed April 18.

Eagles breakfast

ESCANABA — Escanaba Eagles 1088 will be serving breakfast on Sunday, March 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 608 Ludington Street. The public is welcome.
