Delta Coin Club ­changes meeting location

ESCANABA — The next meeting of the Delta Coin Club is Tuesday, March 11 at 5 p.m. To better serve members and the public, meetings will now be held at Bay College in the Joseph Heirman University Center Building. This month the meeting will be in room 909 and thereafter, in room 961.

Escanaba Indian Ed meeting Monday

ESCANABA — Escanaba Schools Title VI Indian Ed Parent Committee meeting is set for Monday, March 10 at 5:15 p.m., in the Upper Elementary teacher lounge. All are welcome. For any questions, call Janine at 906-786-7462, ext. 2216.

MARSP to meet

MANISTIQUE — The luncheon meeting of the Manistique Area Retired School Personnel will be held on Wednesday, March 12 at the 40 Bar and Grill 100 S 2nd Street in Manistique. Socializing will begin at 11:30 a.m. with lunch being served at noon.

Jo-Nell Berger, from the Zion Lutheran Church, will talk about the Backpack Buddies program.

Retired school personnel from Eastern Delta and Schoolcraft counties are welcome to attend. Call Ruth at 906-283-3209 with any questions you may have.

Elks to hold brunch

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Elks Lodge will hold its monthly brunch on Sunday, March 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. As always, the public is welcome.

St. Thomas pasty sale

ESCANABA — Pasties will be available for pickup at St. Thomas Church from 3 to 5 p.m. on March 12 and 13. Pasties will be available with or without rutabaga on a first-come-first-served basis.
