Kindergarten screenings in Gladstone
GLADSTONE — Cameron Elementary School, in Gladstone, will be holding kindergarten registration and screening for all prospective kindergarten students for the 2025-2026 school year. The screening will be held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, June 3-5 at Cameron Elementary, 803 29th St. in Gladstone.
Parents and guardians are asked to make an appointment by calling the Cameron office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. The last day to make an appointment is Thursday, Feb. 20. The office can be reached at 906-428-2314.
Parents must bring their child’s legal birth certificate and immunization records to the screening. Copies will be made and originals will be returned.
Dance in Rock
ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Rd., on Sunday, March 9 from 1 to 4 p.m. Live music will be provided by Country Express. There is a door cost and free-will donation lunch. For more information, call Lucy at 356-6459.

Delta County GOP to meet March 6
GLADSTONE — The Republican Party of Delta County will be holding their next meetings on Thursday, March 6 and April 3 at 5:30 p.m. Meeting are held at 1023 Delta Avenue in Gladstone, next to Old Glory Firearms.
Lenten breakfast
ESCANABA — The Annual Lenten Breakfast and Musical Program at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 600 South Lincoln Road in Escanaba will be held Saturday, March 1 at 9:15 a.m. with the program to follow at 10 a.m. The theme is “Waiting for God’s Time.”
Seating for the breakfast is limited to 200, program seating is unlimited. Call for your breakfast reservation by Feb. 26 to 906-786-6771 or 906-280-4038. Nursery care will be provided upon request.
A freewill donation for breakfast and musical program will be received at the program. The ILCW will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Delta County Victims Services Unit who assist the sheriff’s department with short term crisis intervention.
