Trivia and Tacos returns

ESCANABA — St. Joseph & St. Patrick Parish, 709 1st Ave. S., Escanaba will host a night of Trivia and Tacos on Saturday, Feb. 8 in the parish hall. Teams of two to six players can register beginning at 5 p.m., with the first round beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Also available will be an all-you can-eat taco/nacho bar.

Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place teams. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Elks to hold brunch

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Elks club will be holding its monthly brunch on Sunday, Feb. 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. As always, the public is welcome.

Ensign fire raffle

ENSIGN — The Ensign Township Volunteer Fire Department is seeking donations of prizes for its 43rd annual raffle.

The raffle is the sole fundraiser for the year and the fire department relies heavily on the funds raised by the event to continue keeping firefighters properly trained and equipped with safety gear.

The raffle will take place Saturday, may 3, at the Ensign Township Hall in conjunction with the dinner the department hosts for the Heroes Harvest Veteran Turkey Hunt. The hunt takes place in the area each spring.
