Rock Lions Soup or Chili Challenge seeks entrants

ROCK — The Rock Lions Club will host its first Soup or Chili Challenge on Saturday, March 1. The event will take place from noon to 3 p.m. at the Rock Lions Club, located at 14454 M-35 in Rock.

Those interested in competing in the event are asked to call Amy at 906-280-1417 or Theresa at 906-241-8566. Prizes will be awarded for both the soup and chili categories.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Mid Peninsula Wolverine Circuit Breakers FIRST Robotics Team #7782.

Steak feed Jan. 30

GLADSTONE — A steak feed dinner will be held Thursday, Jan. 30 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Gladstone American Legion Post 71, 802 Delta Ave, Gladstone.

Dance in Rock

ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Road, on Sunday, Feb. 9 from 1 to 4 p.m. Live music will be provided by Ron Jay & Country Strangers. There is a door cost, and a free will donation lunch will be available. For more information, call Lucy at 906-356-6459.

All-you-can-eat breakfast

GLADSTONE –The Gladstone American Legion will hold an all-you-can-eat breakfast Sunday, Jan. 19 from 9 a.m. until noon. Children five and under eat free.

The Legion Post is located at 802 Delta Ave, Gladstone.
