St. Anthony raffle winner named
ESCANABA — The winner of St. Anthony of Padua calendar raffle for Jan. 6 is C.J. Skerbeck of Escanaba. Skerbeck won the weekly prize of $100.
Trivia and Tacos
ESCANABA — St. Joseph & St. Patrick Parish, 709 1st Avenue South in Escanaba, will be having their Trivia and Taco night on Saturday, Jan. 11 in the parish hall. Teams with 2 – 6 players are welcome. Registration begins at 5 p.m. with the first round beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Also available will be an all-you-can-eat taco/nacho bar.
Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place teams. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Elks to hold brunch
ESCANABA — The Escanaba Elks club will be holding its monthly brunch on Sunday, Jan. 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. As always, the public is welcome.
Pasties at St. Thomas
ESCANABA — St. Thomas will hold a pasty sale on Jan. 15 and 16. Pick up at St. Thomas from 3 to 5 p.m. both days. Pasties are available with or without rutabaga. No pre-orders will be accepted and pasties will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.

Memorial UMC clothes closet sets hours
GLADSTONE — The Memorial United Methodist Church Clothes Closet is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The closet offers free clothes, coats and shoes for children, adults and in all sizes, including infant and plus sizes.
