St. Thomas pasty sale
ESCANABA — St. Thomas will hold a pasty sale on Jan. 15 and 16. Pick up at St. Thomas from 3 to 5 p.m. both days. Pasties are available with or without rutabaga.
No pre-orders will be accepted and pasties will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.

Eagles breakfast Sunday
ESCANABA — The Escanaba Eagles will hold a charity breakfast on Sunday, Dec. 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All proceeds will got to employees of the Stonehouse, which was destroyed by fire on Dec. 21.
Dance in Rock
ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Rd, on Sunday, Jan. 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. Music will be provided by Crossfire. There will be a door cost and a free will donation lunch.

VSO sets schedule in Rapid River
RAPID RIVER — Veterans Service Officer Shay Grady is back at Walter Cole American Legion Post 301 in Rapid River on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. For more information, call 906-286-3776.
