Eagles breakfast for Stonehouse workers

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Eagles will hold a charity breakfast on Sunday, Dec. 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All proceeds will got to employees of the Stonehouse, which was destroyed by fire on Dec. 21.

Delta Dems to meet

ESCANABA — The Delta County Democratic Party will meet Wednesday, January 8, from 7-8 p.m. at Carpenters Hall, 1219 First Avenue South, Escanaba. Social time begins at 6:30 p.m. Guests and new members are welcome.

Dance in Rock

ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Rd, on Sunday, Jan. 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. Music will be provided by  Crossfire. There will be a door cost and a free will donation lunch.

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Public Library holiday hours are as follows:

Dec. 26 — closed

Dec. 27 — open from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m

Dec. 30 — open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Dec. 31 — closed

Jan. 1 — closed

RAPID RIVER — Veterans Service Officer Shay Grady is back at Walter Cole American Legion Post 301 in Rapid River on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. For more information, call 906-286-3776.

Memorial UMC free clothes closet

GLADSTONE — The Memorial United Methodist Church Clothes Closet is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The closet offers free clothes, coats and shoes for children, adults and in all sizes, including infant and plus sizes.
