First Presbyterian Church to install pastor

ESCANABA — Escanaba’s First Presbyterian Church will install Pastor Daniel Van Beek as the church’s new pastor Sunday, Nov. 10 at 3 p.m.

The church is located at 819 First Avenue South, in Escanaba.

SVdP Christmas basket sign-up continues

ESCANABA — The St. Vincent de Paul 2024 Christmas basket sign-up continues now through Nov. 11. Applications are available at the SVdP Service Center, 115 N 8th Street, Escanaba. Individuals are asked to fill the applications out at the Service Center. The center is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Christmas baskets are for families with dependent children in need of help this Christmas season.

There will be two scheduled pick-up times are Thursday afternoon, Dec. 12, and Friday morning, Dec. 13. Pick up will be at the Ruth Butler Building at the U.P. State Fairgrounds.
