First Presbyterian to install new pastor
ESCANABA — Escanaba’s First Presbyterian Church will install Pastor Daniel Van Beek as the church’s new pastor Sunday, Nov. 10 at 3 p.m.
The church is located at 819 First Avenue South, in Escanaba.
St. Anthony raffle winner named
ESCANABA — The latest winner of the St. Anthony of Padua calendar raffle is Helen Clouser of Escanaba. Helen won the weekly prize of $100.
Dance in Rock
ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Rd., on Sunday, Nov. 10 from 1 to 4 p.m. Live music will be provided by Old Friends.
There is a door cost and free will donation lunch. For more information, call Lucy at 356-6459. All proceeds benefit the Senior Corporation.
Memorial UMC free Clothes Closet
GLADSTONE — The Memorial United Methodist Church Clothes Closet is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The closet offers free clothes, coats and shoes for children, adults and in all sizes, including infant and plus sizes. The church and clothes closet are located at 1920 Lake Shore Dr., Gladstone (near McDonald’s).

Annual Hunters Turkey Dinner returns Nov. 16
RAPID RIVER — The Walter W. Cole Post 301 Annual Hunters Turkey Dinner will take place at the post, Saturday, Nov. 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. Children age five and under eat free.
Raffle drawings will take place at 7 p.m.
