ESCANABA — Community Foundation for Delta County President Cheryl Andzejewski has announced a new fund started at the Community Foundation for Delta County, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Upper Peninsula, called the Ann Scizak Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund.

The Ann Scizak Memorial Scholarship Endowment Fund was started by Ann’s husband, Mr. Daniel Scizak and will provide an annual scholarship(s) to a Rapid River High School graduate who intends to continue his/her education in the nursing field, must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and complete a one page essay on what nursing means to them.
