Delta Coin Club to meet
GLADSTONE — The next meeting of the Delta Coin Club is Tuesday, July 9, at 921 Delta Ave., Gladstone.
The club will have a joint show on Aug. 17 with the Bay de Noc Stamp and Coin Club. Any person who has sporting cards or other items can get a table at that event.

Democrats to meet
ESCANABA — The Delta Dems will meet Wednesday, July 10, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Carpenters and Millwrights Hall, 1219 1st Ave. So, Escanaba. Please note the date and location change.

Dance in Rock
ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Rd., on Sunday, July 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. Live music will be provided by Old Friends.
There is a door cost and free will donation lunch. All proceeds benefit the Senior Corporation.

Microscope training
ESCANABA — On Wednesday, July 10, the Michigan Science Center will present two sessions of “Microscopic;” workshops for kids to learn how to use a microscope. Space is limited and registration is required. Register online at www.escanabalibrary.org, or call the library at 906-789-7323.
Session one is for ages 6-10 at 1 p.m. Session two is for ages 11+ at 2:30 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the City Council Chambers in Escanaba’s city hall.
The event is free.
