Ann Lindquist, Ryan Mack and Bear the dog

RAPID RIVER — Darryl and LuAnn Lindquist, from Rapid River, are overjoyed to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ann Lindquist, to Ryan Mack, son of Bill and Winnie Mack, from Maple Grove, Minn.

Ann graduated from Rapid River High School in 2006. After taking some college courses at Bay College in Escanaba and attending Bethel University in St. Paul, Minn., she went on to graduate from The Art Institute in Minneapolis, in 2011. Ann has worked in design related positions for a number of companies, and currently is the Director of Product Design for LINTQO Co.; along with working on numerous free lance ­projects.

Ryan graduated from Maple Grove High School in 2006, and from St. Cloud University with a degree in marketing and computer science. Ryan currently is a home loan analyst for Bell Bank in Burnsville, Minn.

Ryan and Ann will make their home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, along with their dog Bear, a four-year-old golden retriever, who they refer to as an “overall good boy.” They are planning their wedding in their backyard for Sept. 23, 2023, in Minneapolis; with a reception Oct.7 in Darryl’s ­Milkhouse Cafe in Ensign.
