MOUNT PLEASANT - Christopher Frost graduated from Central Michigan University with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in industrial organizational psychology.
Christopher is the son of Tom and Tammy Frost and is a 2004 graduate of Escanaba High School. He has accepted a position at Shaker Consulting in Cleveland, Ohio.
WHITEWATER, Wis. - Kari Charlevoix from Escanaba has made the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater dean's list for the 2014 spring semester. These students have demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade point average of 3.4 or above in a single semester.
The Registrar's Office reports 2,813 students were selected for the dean's List for the spring semester. About 12,000 students are currently enrolled at UW-Whitewater.
ROCK - Ashley Coatsworth, granddaughter, of Howard and Sonja Aalto of Rock; graduated from the University of Florida and was named MPH Exemplary Student. On May 2, PHHP choose Ashley for her excellent academic performance, strong leadership, and commitment to public health values and ethics. While maintaining a perfect GPA, Ashley worked on a NIH funded study in North Carolina. For her MPH internship, Ashley worked with Fudan Univ. in Shanghai, China engaging in schistosomiasis research with applications to residents along river regions of China.
Ashley is concentrating on Epidemiology and will work with Nashville, Tenn., Public Health office this August.
in Rome, Italy
ESCANABA - Jaena Manson, daughter of Mary and Bert Manson of Escanaba, completed her junior year at Sr. Norbert College by spending a semester of study at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy. While studying in Rome, she had the opportunity to travel to the Czech Republic, France and Germany.
Jaena is double majoring in English and Religious Studies and remains on the St. Norbert Dean's List. She will begin her senior year with a new internship at the college library and plans to continue her work as a Collaborative Undergraduate Research Assistant and member of the leadership team of the college newspaper, the St. Norbert Times.
