Students at the Cameron School used their accumulated Accelerated Reader (AR) points and cashed them in prizes at the end of the school year. Pictured above are first-graders, Kaera Aderman, Bryce Carlson and Davin Mattonen as they check out some of the items available on one of the tables set up in the school library. Each table was filled with prizes that varied in value.
First-grade teacher, Paulette Larson, checks out the AR points that were still available for her student, Jude Frizelle. It turned out he had enough to continue shopping.
Gavin Frossard appears to be confused about what one of the items that were available was used for and volunteer Terry McPherson lends a hand with a demonstration.
One of the first-graders had her arms full by the time she used up all her AR points.
