This week's bouquets go to:
From the Gladstone High School Softball team,
The Gladstone High School Softball Team, coaches, and parents would like to thank the people of Gladstone and local businesses for their generous donations of returnable cans/bottles and money. Special thanks to the local businesses and distributors who donated supplies and assisted with returns. Also, thank you to the Daily Press for advertising this event. We appreciate your continued support of our softball program.
From the Escanaba High School Key Club:
The Escanaba High School Key Club would like to thank its many sponsors, donors and participants who helped make this year's dodgeball tournament a huge success. Each year students of Key Club host the dodgeball tournament to raise funds to support Key Club International's Eliminate Project, which supplies tetanus vaccines to children around the world. Thank you from the students of the EHS Key Club.
From James T. Jones School staff:
"The staff of James T. Jones School would like to send a huge thank you to our group of hard-working PTC members for the great Staff Appreciation Week. Kelly Cavanaugh, Julie Martin, and Debbie LaFave did so much this week to make us feel valued and appreciated, but we want them to know how much we value and appreciate all they have done and continue to do for our school! Thank you.
Each Saturday the Daily Press salutes individuals and groups from our area who have had a very positive impact on the way we live.
We identify our bouquet recipients in one of two ways: from Daily Press news pages and from nominations sent in by our readers.
Mail us a postcard or letter identifying your nomination and putting into detail what they've done. Include your name, address, and phone number. Send nominations to Saturday Bouquets, The Daily Press, 600 Ludington Street, Escanaba, MI 49829.
They may also be sent to us by going to our Web site, www.dailypress.net, and clicking on the submit news button. Once there, click on "Bouquets" and follow the simple instructions.
