Arvan honored for leadership

April 24, 2014
Daily Press

Capital University ROTC cadet Kyle Arvan of Gladstone, at left, was recognized for outstanding leadership qualities, military bearing, and excellence by the Benjamin Franklin Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution on April 11 at the Annual Military Ball. Arvan is a sophomore majoring in biology with plans of graduate school training to become a Physician's Assistant. He chose to attend Capital University because his father had served as a ROTC instructor at the Bexley, Ohio, college. The cadet is pictured receiving the 2014 SAR Silver Medal from David Birthelmer of the Benjamin Franklin Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution.
