Cameron first-graders in the classrooms of Peggy Austin and LeeAnne Iverson recently competed in the Reading Olympics during March Reading Month. Each child set a goal of eight Accelerated Reader Points to win a Gold Medal. The two classes competed against each other to see which class could get the most Gold Medals. A final award ceremony was held before spring break and awards were presented. Top Reader Award went to Chase Potes from Iverson's class.
