GLADSTONE - Hollie Lynn Ernest and Bradley Daniel Arts were united in marriage on Oct. 5, 2013, in a wedding ceremony that took place at the Terrace Bay Inn.
A reception in their honor followed their exchange of vows officiated by Donna Ritchie. A reading was given by Ashley Hite, a friend of the bride, while the groom's grandfather and uncle, Joe and Joey Rousseau, provided musical tributes and talents.
The bride, given away by her parents, Dennis and Chris Ernest of Escanaba, is a 2005 Escanaba Area High School graduate. She is a registered dental hygienist with an associates' degrees from Bay College and Ferris State University. She is employed by Dr. Robert "Buzz" Berube of Marquette and Dr. Ronald Mueller of Powers.
Bradley and Hollie Arts
The groom, son of Dan and Cheri Arts of Escanaba, is a 2004 graduate of Gladstone Area High School. He is employed with the family business, Arts Construction of Escanaba.
Jaimee Lofquist, lifelong friend of the bride, stood as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were: Mandy Miller, sister of the groom; Shannon Miron, cousin of the groom; and Brittany Tuyls, Cally Dittrich, Mandy Iverson, and Megan McMahon, all friends of the bride. Flower girl was Olivia Arts, niece of the couple.
Brett Miron, lifelong friend of the groom, was chosen as best man. Groomsmen were: JDe Miller, brother-in-law of the groom; Matthew Arts, brother of the groom; Tyler Ernest, brother of the bride; and Chuck Liikala, Nathan Robitaille, and Luke Vermote, all friends of the groom. Seating the guests were friends of the groom, Adam Young and Bryan Johnson. The ring bearer was Travis Caron, a friend of the couple.
A honeymoon trip to Now Jade Riviera resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico, followed the nuptials.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Arts are making their home in Gladstone.
