MARQUETTE - Valerie Sue Peterson and Scott Joseph Reddinger were united in marriage on Sept. 21 at the Presque Isle Band Shell in Marquette during a 3:30 p.m. ceremony, with Pastor Bill Rafuse officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Charles Peterson, and Lori and Ivan Hardwick. The groom is the son of Joe and Lynn Reddinger of Kingsford.
Michelle Kozar, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Tara Hartman, Ashley Peterson, Jenna Flatt, Megan Lubas, and Amanda Boyle. Junior bridesmaids were Hannah and Talliyah Kozar. Flower girl was Katie Grace Hartman.

Standing as best man was Todd Reddinger, cousin of the groom. Groomsman were Kyle Peterson, Brandon Erkkila, John Garrett, Steven Barrons, Chris Groeneveld, and Dan Starr. Ushers were Andy Reddinger, Brad Reddinger, Chris Hartman, and Jeff Kozar.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Rapid River High School. She is employed by Superior Title Insurance Agency, Marquette, as an assistant manager.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Kingsford High School and a 2009 Central Michigan University graduate with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. He is employed by as an account manager for VAST Insurance Agency in Marquette.
The couple resides in Ishpeming.
