Loaner laptops? Library offers new program

October 29, 2013
Daily Press
Escanaba Public Library patrons age 12 and older have an additional computer use option now that the library has eight laptops available for in-library check out. Above, Matt Visintin, of Escanaba, uses one of the new computers. Borrowers must present a library card and photo identification as well as sign a waiver, which allows for 90 minutes of use per day. Each laptop has Internet access, a full suite of Microsoft Office programs, and wireless printing capabilities. For more information about this program, speak to the library staff or contact the library at 789-7323. (Daily Press photo by Holly Richer)
