Union helps to ‘End the Silence’

Representatives from USW Local 21 presented a $500 donation to benefit the "End the Silence" Walk, which is held annually to help collect funds for suicide awareness and prevention programs in Delta County. This year's walk will be held Saturday at Ludington Park. Registration starts at 9 a.m., followed by the opening ceremony at 10 and the walk/run at 11. The closing ceremony is at 2 p.m. Representing USW Local 21 are: at left, Grace Bergeron (holding her grandson, Carson), Sherman Martin and Jody Horwitz. Accepting the donation is "End the Silence" co-chairman and USW Local 21 member, Bruce Bintner.
