Gladstone Public Library's 2013 Summer Reading Program has come to an end with 110 children in attendance at the closing party on Aug. 7. This year's program was one of the largest with 258 elementary children and 121 young adult registered participants. Lee Angsten along with her grandchildren, Keeley and Gavin Angsten , pictured at right, enjoyed the festivities at the story hour. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Gladstone Public Library, Altrusa, individuals and many area businesses. The next story hour will be Oct. 26.
