A newly landscaped play area, complete with swing set, graces the grounds of the Escanaba Church of Christ, thanks to Derek Verbrigghe and Boy Scout Troop 408. As an Eagle Scout project, Derek, who is a member of the church, volunteered to improve the landscaping around the kid's area, and, with the help of his Troop, raised funds to help with costs of materials. All help was volunteered. Pictured at the completion of the project are: from left, Kevin Walkey, Derek Verbrigghe, Andrew Lokar, Trent Luft, Dan Verbrigghe, Zack Verbrigghe, and Josh Myers. Troop leader is Erick Kestila.
