Lots of musical talent in Escanaba

June 7, 2013
Daily Press

EDITOR:

Grandparents experienced a wonderful month of May, attending concerts between "hellos and goodbyes," as we made our way in and out of the Escanaba High School auditorium, so beautifully redone.

We must extend our gratitude to the Fine Arts Department for their many outstanding presentations, in choral, orchestra and band performances, continuing the ongoing tradition of excellence in our school.

The City Band will carry on through the summer with weekly concerts and occasional parades. The upcoming Sesquicentennial will be the frosting on the cake, with more performance galas. Disney World will have nothing on us.

We are all the better for living in such a talented town with such talented dedicated teachers and leaders.
