More than 30 Horse Crazy 4H Riding Club members gathered to listen and learn while Noelle Weiss, world champion trainer, provided information on the fundamentals of Western Pleasure horse back riding and Trail class competition. Weiss, who is pictured standing at right with Ginny Menard and Macy Menard (on the horse), provided class room instruction and day long clinics to groups of 4H students and their equine friends. The youth learned the basics of western pleasure riding. The clinic was held at the farm of Cindy Anderson, the Horse Crazy 4H leader, in Rapid River. Weiss works out of Creek View Riding Center in De Pere, Wis.
4-Hers Paige Cavadeas, above left, and Lisa Filibrandt, pictured below, learn their horses leads, to slow their horses down, how to help their horse work through problems, and helped them learn to better communicate with their horse. They also learned information about trail class that was held April 14. They learned how to move their horses feet independently to maneuver around, over, and through obstacles.
