Patricia Anne Ammerman

WARREN, Mich. - Patricia Anne Ammerman, 66, of 32841 Hawthorne, Warren, Mich. (formerly of Escanaba), passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, at Henry Ford Hospital in Clinton Township, Mich. She was born on Jan. 5, 1947, in Escanaba and was the daughter of Fred and Ruth (Cousineau) Snow.

Patricia attended school in Escanaba and was a member of the graduating Class of 1965. Following high school, she enlisted in the U.S. Army on June 14, 1965, and was honorably discharged on Feb. 23, 1968. After her discharge from the Army, Patricia returned home to Escanaba and in 1971 she relocated to Harrison Township in Lower Michigan. She began her employment career with Schneider Cleaners and remained there for 30 years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Louise Catholic Church in Warren, Mich.

Patricia is survived by: daughter, Rhonda (Glen Potter) Rogers, Warren, Mich.; son, David (Michelle) Ammerman, Mt Clemens, Mich.; grandchildren, Ryan (Heather) Rogers, St. Clair Shores, Mich., Alexandria Ammerman, Mt. Clemens, Mich, Skylar Rogers, Warren, Mich., David Ammerman, Mt. Clemens, Mich., Mitchel Potter, Warren, Mich., Rebecca Potter, Fordland, Mo.; great-grandchildren, Clayton Rogers, Avery Rogers; siblings, Sharon Ernst, Freeport, Texas, Jaynis Kristich (Steven), Chicago, Ill., Fred (Melody) Snow, Hillsboro, Ohio, Phyllis Vanderberg, Gladstone, and Penny (Paul) Snow-Myers, Escanaba; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Fred (Ted) in 1975, mother Ruth in 1993, brother Donald in 1945, and brother-in-law David Ernst.

A funeral mass celebrating the life of Patricia Anne (Snow) Ammerman will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, at St. Louise Catholic Church, 2500 E 12 Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48092 with Monsignor Dylag officiating. Burial will take place in the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Escanaba. The Anderson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
