ESCANABA - Ron and Colleen Atkins of Escanaba, along with Dan and Sue Wind of Escanaba, announce the engagement of their children, Christina Atkins and Joe Johnsen.
The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Escanaba High School and a 2012 graduate of Bay de Noc Community College with a degree in registered nursing.
Joe is a 2000 graduate of Escanaba High School. He is a journeyman welder in the Boilermakers Union at Marinette Marine Corporation in Marinette, Wis.
