POWERS - Bethany Lynn Ray and Andrew James Gearhart were married May 19 at the Bark River Bible Church in Bark River. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Brad Cochrane.
A reception followed at the Terrace Bay Inn in Gladstone.
Serving as matron of honor for her sister was Brittany Dubord. Rachelle Ives, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Laura Bartel, Donna McVay, and Brianne Novak, all friends of the bride. Taylor Ray, cousin of the bride was the junior bridesmaid. Shayla Holle and Sierra Schwark, nieces of the groom, were the flower girls.

Best man was Derek Olson, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Steve Dubord, brother-in-law of the bride, and Robert Malone, Paul Erickson, and Heath Mason, all friends of the groom. Bryce, Trent, and Carter Holle, nephews of the groom, were junior groomsmen. Dakota Schwark served as the ring bearer.
Seating the wedding guests were Tom Ray, uncle of the bride, and Chad Holle, brother-in-law of the groom.
Bethany is the daughter of Paul and Carole Ray of Bark River. Bethany received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Northern Michigan University and is nearing completion of her master's degree in Learning Disabilities. She is currently employed as a Title I teacher at Stephenson Elementary Schools.
Andrew is the son of Robert and Susan Gearhart of Powers. He received his bachelor's degree in nursing. He is currently employed as a registered nurse at Dickinson County Hospital.
The couple has made their home in Powers.
