The 2012 Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) campaign encourages communities and individuals to join the conversation on how we connect and respect one another in order to prevent sexual violence.
Promoting healthy behaviors encourages sexual interactions and relationships that are consensual, respectful and informed. By starting the conversation, this dialogue can build safe, healthy relationships and communities.
The Alliance Against Violence and Abuse, Inc. of Delta County is a non-profit organization committed to providing free and confidential services to victims of domestic and sexual violence.
Our goal is to raise public awareness and to educate individuals on how to prevent domestic and sexual violence.
The Alliance Against Violence and Abuse, Inc. provides emergency safe housing, a 24-hour crisis line, counseling, therapy, advocacy, assistance with personal protection orders, support groups, safety planning, community education, information and referrals.
