ESCANABA - Trina Pearson and Alex Holmes were united in marriage on Aug. 13 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Escanaba during a ceremony officiated by Pastor Jonathan Schmidt.
A reception in honor of the newlyweds followed at the Danforth Place.
Serving as matron of honor was the bride's sister, Sara Cederna, and the maid of honor was her cousin and best friend, Jessie Gagnon. Trina's bridesmaids were: her sisters, Kristin Pearson-Fuhrhop and Gina Laur; the groom's sister, Kara Holmes; and the bride's friend, Heather Mokszycke.

Best man was the groom's friend, Eric Mauhar. Groomsmen were: friends of the groom, Tyler Timler and Nick Kies; and the bride's brothers-in-law, Dave Laur, Keith Pearson Fuhrhop, and Josh Cederna.
Trina's cousins, Jeremy Gagnon and Thomas Theoret, served as ushers. Ring bearer and flower girl were Andrew and Lydia Cutshall, cousins of the bride.
Trina is the daughter of Marilyn and Dennis Pearson. She is attending the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for a degree in biology.
Alex is the son of Denby and Robin Holmes. He has a degree in computer systems technology.
The newlyweds are currently residing in Stevens Point.
