ESCANABA - Emily Carlyon and Cory Kuchenberg were united in holy matrimony at Bethany Lutheran Church in Escanaba on July 9.
Their reception was held at the Island Resort and Casino.
Matron of honor for her sister was Allison Rae. The groom's daughter, Carissa Kuchenberg, served as junior maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mandy Levesque, sister of the groom, and Melissa Kositzky, friend of the bride. Abbie Levesque, niece of the groom, served as flower girl.

Standing as best man was Travis Levesque, the groom's brother-in-law. Curtis Kuchenberg, son of the groom, served as junior best man. Groomsmen were Blake Carlyon, brother of the bride, and Jeff Rae, the bride's brother-in-law. Brody Levesque, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer.
Ushers were Dominic Benetti, Bob Prins, and Steve Cousineau, all friends of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Bruce and Martha Carlyon. Emily graduated from Escanaba Area High School in 2000 and went on to receive a master's degree from Grand Valley State University. She is employed by the Delta-Schoolcraft ISD as an occupational therapist.
Cory is the son of Jon and Debbie Kuchenberg, and is a 1997 graduate of Escanaba Area High School. He received a bachelor's degree in 2003 from Lake Superior State University. He is employed as a loan officer at Upper Peninsula State Bank in Escanaba.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in St. Kitts. They have made their home in Escanaba.
