PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Laura Huddas and Ryan Ammel were united in holy matrimony on July 22 at the St. John's Chapel, in Plymouth, Mich. Rev. John Riccardo officiated over the 5 p.m. nuptials.
Laura is the daughter of Robert and Mary Ann Huddas of Simpsonville, S.C. (formerly of Plymouth). She graduated from Ladywood High School in 2003 and from Michigan State University in 2007. She is employed at Lincoln Harris Corporate Service Group as an assistant property manager in Charlotte, N.C.
Ryan is the son of Steve and Brenda Ammel of Escanaba. He graduated from Escanaba Area High School in 2003 and from Michigan State University in 2007. He is employed as a supplier manager at the Bank of America Headquarters in Charlotte.

The bride selected her sister, Kaitlyn Huddas, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Ammel, sister of the groom; Sarah Huddas, cousin of the bride; and Kristen Cebulski and Sapna Chaudhry, friends of the bride.
The bride's cousins, Macey Lucier and Alex Huddas, were the ring bearers.
Standing as best man was Scott Thinglum. Groomsmen were Andy Verhamme, Luke Simon, Brenan Pultz, and Dan Rozycki, all friends of the groom.
Serving as ushers were Scott Huddas, cousin of the bride, and Greg Hatch, cousin of the groom.
A reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Inn at St. John's. The newlyweds enjoyed a honeymoon at Sandals Grande Antigua following the wedding.
The couple is making their home in Charlotte.
