ESCANABA - April Joy Milkiewicz and Mark John Stropich were united in marriage on Feb. 12 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Escanaba. Pastor Judy Kincaid was the celebrant.
A reception, in honor of the newlyweds, was held at the Bark River Senior Center.
The bride selected her sisters, Sarah Milkiewicz and Brooke Milkiewicz, to serve as her maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacey Welch, sister of the groom, and Melissa Greening, Ariane Grandchamp, Stephanie Hays, and Amber Nolde, all friends of the couple. Flower girl was Aubrey Stropich, daughter of the groom.

Best man was Jake Welch, brother-in-law of the groom. Groomsmen were Russ Sargent and Tony McKnight, both cousins of the groom, and Matt Rosen, PJ Grandchamp, Cory Kuchenburg, and Cory Dittrich, all friends of the couple.
Ringbearers were Jacob Welch, nephew of the groom, and Hunter Lancour, Godchild of the bride.
Ushers were Josh Sargent, cousin of the groom, and Josh Lancour, friend of the bride.
April is the daughter of Todd and Kathy Milkiewicz. She is employed with mBank in Escanaba as the assistant branch manager/consumer and mortgage lender.
Mark is the son of Wayne Stropich and Laure Stropich. He is an engineer with Upper Lakes Towing in Escanaba.
The couple honeymooned in Rivera Maya, Mexico. The newlyweds are making their home in Escanaba.
