ESCANABA - Sara Pearson became the bride of Josh Cederna during an early afternoon ceremony that took place Aug. 21 in Escanaba.
A reception in honor of the newlyweds followed at the Terrace Bay Inn.
Serving as maid of honor for her sister was Trina Pearson. Bridesmaids were: Kristin Pearson-Fuhrhop and Gina Laur, sisters of the bride; Jessie Gagnon, cousin of the bride; and Jennifer Broekhuizen, Liz Jadczak and Bailey Wandyg, friends of the bride and groom.

Standing as best man was Jeno Cederna, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were: Kurt Cederna, brother of the groom; Kurt Dubord, and Mark Ostroski, friends of the groom; Keith Pearson-Fuhrhop and Dave Laur, both brothers-in-law of the bride; and Jeremy Gagnon, cousin of the bride.
Seating the wedding guests were Alex Holmes, future brother-in-law of the bride, and Thomas Theoret, cousin of the bride. Flower girl and ring bearer were Lydia Cutshall and Joey Janofski, cousins of the bride.
A 2006 graduate of Escanaba Area High School, Sara is the daughter of Dennis and Marilyn Pearson of Escanaba. She is employed at Altoona Regional Health System as a registered nurse.
Also a 2006 EHS graduate, Josh is the son of Jerry and Joyce Cederna of Ford River. He is a process engineer at Appleton Papers.
The newlyweds have made their home in Hollidaysburg, Pa.
