ESCANABA - Danielle Penoza and Dave Artley were united in marriage during a 2 p.m. ceremony held at Central United Methodist Church in Escanaba on Aug. 7. Rev. Scott Harmon officiated.
A reception followed at the Terrace Bay Inn.
Serving as matron of honor for her sister was Amber Brayak. Bridesmaids were: Angela Sargent, sister of the groom; Jayne Braverman, aunt of the bride; and Jayme Cannon, Mari Anderson, Jill Leisner and McKayle Roy, all friends of the bride. Flower girl was Mya Brayak, niece of the bride.

Andrew Miron, a friend of the groom, stood as best man. Groomsmen were Mike Kolich, Jeff Coyne, Craig Harris, Mick Jacques and Ron Derouin, all friends of the groom, and Wayne Allsworth, cousin of the groom. Ring bearer was Carson Artley, son of the bride and groom.
A 2004 graduate of Escanaba Area High School, Danielle is the daughter of David and Connie Penoza of Escanaba.
The son of Sherry and the late Jerry Artley of Gladstone, Dave is a 1997 graduate of Gladstone High School.
Both Danielle and Dave are the owners of Don's Heating.
After honeymooning in Marco Island, Fla., the couple is at home in Escanaba.
